To our all colleagues, clients and partners,
During these uncertain times we at ColdFront would like to assure our valued customers and industry partners that we remain steadfast in our commitment to the safety and well-being of our employees, customers and communities.
The Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is an unprecedented and evolving event and our goal is to respond in a reasonable and measured manner that protects our team members and their families while providing certainty and responsiveness to our customers. In a coordinated effort between our dealerships we have implemented protocols and action plans to ensure daily operations continue.
We are committed to delivering certainty to our customers and are confident in our ability to support our trucking industry partner as they deliver essential services to Canadian families. At this point all mobile trucks, shop technicians and new unit installs are available, parts inventories and deliveries have not been affected and our Sales, Finance and Admin teams while working remotely are available to you.
Clear and timely communications will remain at the core of our emergency preparedness and we will continue to provide timely updates to our partners supporting the essential supply chain.
In addition to the approved guidelines provided by public health officials, local, provincial, federal and global government agencies around social distancing, travel restrictions and isolating employees experiencing symptoms, we have also instituted the following measures;
- In order to further protect our front-line workers all dealerships have been divided into three zones: Service, Warehouse & Parts, and Office. Only designated individuals are authorized to cross zones, reducing the risk of spreading the virus.
- To reduce the overall exposure in our facilities; finance, administration, sales and designated senior management are now working remotely.
- We have enhanced internal social distancing… We have moved desks apart and are using private offices where available.
- Limiting socialization. Lunch rooms and driver lounge areas are closed.
Furthermore, ColdFront’s Dealerships in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Lethbridge and Brooks as well as our network of Associate Dealers in Kamloops, Prince George, Grand Prairie, Saskatoon and Regina give us the scope to provide services as required. We at ColdFront take our role as an essential service seriously and we have both the trained staff and the resources to deal with this effectively and efficiently to keep you operating.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate through these un-chartered waters and encourage you to contact me directly should you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Kevin Johnson
President, ColdFront Ltd.
